Waders at Marazion today

In addition to the adult Lesser Yellowlegs on the marsh, several species of wader are showing well on the beach.  Main species included Ringed Plover, Dunlin and Turnstone but a single Bar-tailed Godwit, four Whimbrel and a couple Sanderling added to the show.  Some images from today are shown below:

  1. Good selection Steve, with nice low viewing angles

  2. Perfect depth of field, and so much character in the shots,I particularly like the strutting Dunlin.
I revisited at high tide but sadly the birds had flown.
Luck flies in odd directions though,an whilst eating a sandwich two male Mandarins flew out of a ditch and down the road... such is life.
    Great shots! ever an inspiration.
    Thanks Derek.
