Close and personal with the Drift Whooper Swan























A very confiding bird in stunning low afternoon sunshine.  Taken with 300mm lens.

  3. Must have just missed you,I was down seeing father who lives in bungalow over looking dam Sandy was taking some shots of swan as well, by the way really pleased with 150-500, good series of shots well captured.

  4. Thanks Phil. Glad you are pleased. You'll be blogging soon! I probably missed you because all of these shots were taken about 50 yards from the hide rather than from the feeding station. It just swam into the late sunshine in front of me.

  5. Beautiful Steve - No 6 is my favourite. Very graceful and feminine; tucking under those feathers so gently! They are all fabulous though.
